Our Story — The Practical Psych

Psychology that works where work happens.

We help organisations measure and improve psychological health, turning good intentions into results you can see.

Workplaces care about staff wellbeing and performance. Few can apply the science in a targeted, measurable way. That gap is why TPP exists.

Beyond the tick-box

Founded in 2015, TPP began with a simple frustration: wellbeing at work was too often a tick-box exercise, well-meant initiatives with no way to know if they actually worked.

We set out to change that by bringing rigorous psychological science to the everyday realities of work. Workload, leadership, culture, and the conditions that let people do their best.

The PHO model & OHIQ

Our Psychologically Healthy Organisation (PHO) model gives an end-to-end framework to measure, intervene, monitor, and improve. Our OHIQ platform turns it into a 5-minute, benchmarked health profile.
